2007 Sugar Bowl DVD covering Notre Dame vs. LSU
After a one-year stint in Atlanta due to massive damage at the Louisiana
Superdome caused by Hurricane Katrina, the 2007 Allstate Sugar Bowl
represented another step forward in New Orleans’ rebuilding effort. After the
game, with trophy in hand, LSU coach Les Miles acknowledged the crowd by
announcing “There’s no place we’d rather play than in this city.” Sugar Bowl
CEO Paul Hoolahan said the electricity and excitement surging through the
Superdome on this night reminded him of when LSU beat Oklahoma to win
the 2003 national championship.
